Tucked in the heart of the Rocky Mountains of northwest Montana, you'll find Mountain Timbers a magnificent hand-hewn hideaway that provides serenity, game watching and spectacular vistas into Glacier National Park.

Mountain Timbers' 245 forested acres contain 15 km of professionally designed cross-country ski trails and access to national forests and Glacier Park, just seven-miles away. You may see deer, elk, moose, bear and cougar, whether you choose foot power, mountain bikes, snowshoes or skis.

Fishermen will find the confluence of the North and Middle forks of the Flathead River one-mile away. The entrance to the Canyon Creek Snowmobile Trail only minutes from the Lodge, and downhill skiing at The Big Mountain is just 25 miles away

When you return to our spacious lodge, built from 80-foot logs, you'll find a massive rock and stone fireplace, comfortable sitting area, a fully stocked library and views of 10,000-ft. peaks in Glacier Park. You'll enjoy ending your day with a game of pool, a video or a soak in our jacuzzi. After a relaxing night's sleep under a cozy down comforter, you'll awaken the next morning to a complete country-style breakfast.

Open year-round, Mountain Timbers is convenient to Glacier International Airport as well as two wilderness areas, whitewater rafting, canoeing, fishing, backpacking, hiking, horseback riding, golfing, and even restaurants and shopping.
