Location & Getting Here:
Junction of I-90 and US Hwy 89 in southwest Montana. Nearest airport is Bozeman, about 30 minutes west on I-90.

Two of Montana's most spectacular mountain ranges-the Absarokas and the Crazies-provide a majestic setting for the Yellowstone River community of Livingston. Winter recreationists are equally drawn to the forested canyons.


TRAILS:
Trails include the 20-mile Shields Loop, with Forest Service cabin rental nearby; the 7.5-mile Cottonwwood Trail; the Ibex Cabin Trail, also with Forest Service cabin rental; the Mill Creek and the Rock Creek South, with trails for a variety of skill levels.

Snowmobile sales, service and rentals, plus a full range of food and lodging are available in Livingston and in Gardiner, about an hour south of Livingston on US Hwy 89. For trail information contact the Big Sky Snowriders Snowmobile Club.
