Gateway to Yellowstone and the spectacular Beartooth high country, Cooke City / Silver Gate enjoys perhaps the longest winter sports season in Montana. These friendly communities consist of "80 people, dogs, moose and an occasional bison." Gardiner, located at the north entrance to Yellowstone National Park, provides easy access to park trails.
