Location & Getting Here:
Big Sky Resort is located off of US 191, 45 miles south of Bozeman. Easy access from Delta/SkyWest, Horizon/Alaska, United or Northwest to Bozeman. Shuttles meet most major flights. Rental cars and taxis available.Now available between Bozeman and Big Sky the Skyline Bus shuttle service.

The biggest skiing in America is right here in southwest Montana. With the Big Sky-Moonlight Basin interconnect, skiers and riders can access 5,500 uncrowded acres and 25 lifts, all on one lift ticket.  RENTALS AND SALES:
 On-mountain equipment rentals and sales are available.
 
 INSTRUCTION:
 Big Sky offers instruction for downhill, snowboard, telemark, powder, moguls, women's-only, advanced/extreme clinics and camps for children and adults.
 
 JUST FOR KIDS:
 Small Fry Try, for ages 3-4 gives your child a one-on-one introduction to skiing, $70/session.
 
 APRES SKI:
 NEW! After the slopes close, join us in the tubing park! Fun for the entire family, the illuminated tubing park is located right in the base area. The new Dakota double chair will access Big Sky Resorts newest bowl, Dakota Territory. This area, located off the summit of Lone Peak, offers over 200 acres of terrain.
 
 TERRAIN PARK & SUPER PIPE:
 Big Sky Resort offer's Montana's largest terrain park and super pipe. For beginners, head to the Swifty Park for easier rails, slides and kickers. For the more advanced, the Ambush Terrain Park offers more challenging rails, wall rides, fun boxes, kickers and the area's only super pipe.
 
 EVENTS:
 Throughout the winter, Big Sky Resort offer fun family events on and off the slopes including a Christmas Eve Torchlight parade, New Year's Eve and regular Saturday night firework displays Christmas through close, Easter sunrise service, Rails Under the Stars, Dummy Jump, Pond Skimming, terrain park events and live music. View Winter Events
 
 CROSS-COUNTRY:
 Lone Mountain Ranch is a world-class Nordic resort located six miles away. Daily shuttles to Yellowstone National Park for snowmobiling, snowcoach, cross-country skiing and wildlife viewing.
