Location & Getting Here:
Bear Paw Ski Bowl is located 29 miles south of Havre on the Chippewa Cree Recreation Area. It is nestled in the shadow of mystic Baldy mountain, the highest mountain in the Bear Paw Mountains.

Christmas - Early April Weekends only 10:00am - 4:00pm

Bear Paw Ski Bowl is a downhill ski area with an average annual snowfall of 140 inches. Bear Paw Ski Bowl offers over 20 runs, 25% beginner, 25% intermediate, 50% advanced. Many of the runs and trails at Bear Paw have been named after former Chippewa Cree Chiefs, Medicine Men and other notable tribal members. The Bear Paw Ski Bowl offers a unique opportunity for residents of the Hi-line and others fortunate enough to stumble across this island oasis of beauty, snow and fun – to enjoy the many splendid recreational activities Montana winters are famous for. From snowshoeing and snowmobiling to cross-country skiing and downhill skiing, the Bear Paw Mountains have it all. Rentals and Sale are available at Master Sports in Havre. Food and drink available at consession stand.
