Visit the pristine waters of the Stillwater River, one of the premier trout streams in America--only a short walk in either direction from the home. For the avid fly fisherman, the lure and legend of the Stillwater is truly a memory maker. Proud Indian chiefs such as Plenty Coups roamed this country for many years. Appreciate the breathtaking 360-degree majestic mountain view surrounding the cabin that was once worshipped by the Native Americans. Although it is called a cabin, the spaciousness of this four-bedroom home will surprise most guests. The loft that overlooks the living room, with its vaulted ceiling, is a favorite place to stretch out and play a game of cards or watch a good movie. The large master bedroom, with its king size bed and quality linens, is a favorite of couples who like to rough it during the day but demand elegant restful sleep at night. The two bedrooms on the main floor are furnished with queen beds and the western style bedroom on the lower floor has twin beds and its own bath. The kitchen is fully equipped with a full-sized refrigerator, stove, microwave oven, coffee maker, blender, dishes, cooking utensils, drinking glasses and eating utensils including a cork screw. Starter paper products are supplied as well as dish washing soap. Another advantage of this property is the washer and dryer, complete with laundry detergent. All bed linens, towels, and essential bathroom supplies are also provided. Activities on site or nearby include: Biking, Mountain Biking, Wildlife Viewing, Hiking, Fishing, Museums, Horseback Riding. Pack Trips, Golf, Museums. Unique Western Dining, Shopping, Restaurants, All kinds of Cowboy and Indian events are readily accessible including the Custer Battlefield, the Crow Fair, numerous Rodeos and the Running of the Sheep at Reed Point. Yellowstone National Park, a 2.2 million acre paradise is accessible through the most scenic Northeast Entrance at Cooke City, Montana. Winter skiing is only 45 minutes away in Red Lodge. Watchable wildlife: Montana offers 260 types of birds and over 100 species of mammals all in their natural habitat. Deer, Elk, Turkey, Big Horn Sheep and numerous small critters such as rabbits, rock chucks and even skunk. Bring your binoculars!
